Talking with a friend about our #ElectricCar I had a big realization.

Gas prices fluctuate wildly, sometimes doubling in just a few weeks.

Electrical power is in many places a regulated utility, with a fixed rate agreed with a public utility board.

Electrification means much less instability in the economy based on oil prices. Less opportunity to make a killing, but also less opportunity to go broke overnight.

It's an advantage we don't often talk about.
