So, I got into a habit on Twitter of re-sharing my polls every few hours.
I wanted to make sure that people got a chance to see them, even if they weren't online exactly when I posted them.
The algorithmic timeline on Twitter also made this important.
Now, on Mastodon, it seems like it's less important. So, I'm going to dial back on re-boosting my polls.
I usually do 24-hour polls, so I'm going to try to reboost around 6, 12, 18, and 23 hours in.
I've had a few responses that people don't want to see so many polls.
Polls are one of my favourite ways to interact with others on social networks, so I don't plan to stop any time soon.
But! I'll make sure to use the tags #Poll and #EvanPoll so you can filter by tag.
That way, you can safely avoid poll questions and just enjoy my photos of soup to your heart's content.
